Easy way to manage emotions and stress

Are you searching for an easy way to calm your mind?

Is stress taking over your life?

Do you struggle with managing your emotions?

Watch my video and discover a simple technique you can use to relieve stress, reduce anxiety and help get rid of any negative emotions.

The reason this works is because many meridians run off your fingers such as your heart, lung, large and small intestine, pericardium and there are several reflexology points that correspond to each finger too. By massaging each finger or pulling on each finger while taking slow deep breathes, it allows your body to release the stress and anxiety from your body.

In may last video I mentioned an Eastern Medicine practice called Jin Shin Jyutsu.  This practice believes you can balance your your body’s energy system and restore a peace and calm by holding each finger for a period of time. Each finger is associated with a particular emotion and by holding that finger for 1-3 minutes and taking slow, deep breathes, it will allow you to release  negative emotions from your body.

Here is a list of which emotions are linked to which finger and how holding that particular finger can benefit you:

Thumb: The thumb is associated with worry and overthinking. It corresponds with your stomach and spleen organs. It will help us digest food and nutrients. It also helps us to digest our emotions. Notice how many babies will suck their thumb to soothe themselves? Now it probably makes sense! Holding your thumb will also help boost your self confidence.

Index Finger: The index finger is associated with fear. It allows you to let go of uncertainties, perfectionism which allows you to fully participate in the flow of life. It supports kidney and bladder function.

Middle Finger: This finger is associated with anger. If you find you have a short fuse, feel frustrated on a daily basis or take your anger out on others, holding the middle finger will calm you down and protect the liver and gallbladder.

Ring Finger: This finger helps with sadness. By holding it you can help alleviate grief, letting go of a relationship that is no longer serving you and can help process feelings of guilt or shame. It helps to strengthen the lung and intestine energy.

Little Finger: Holding the little finger can help us bring joy into our hearts. To live an authentic life. Holding this finger helps the heart and small intestine.

This is something you can do anywhere, at your desk, sitting at a red light, while watching TV or on the phone.

It is amazing how we have access to so many healing modalities that literally only take a few minutes a day and can shift your entire emotional and physical well-being.

Have you ever tried either of these methods? I would love for you to share!

With Love and Gratitude,
