If you struggle with always feeling tired even after a good nights sleep, you may be suffering from adrenal fatigue.

Adrenal fatigue is a condition where your body and adrenal glands cannot keep up with the amount of stress you are bombarded with on a daily basis.

Your adrenal glands are two thumb sized glands that sit right above your kidneys. They are part of your endocrine system.

They play a huge role in the stress response. Whenever your brain triggers the flight/fight response, your adrenals release adrenaline hormones to help you react to the threat. If you are constantly stressed, your adrenals never get time to rest and this is what causes burnout.

Some signs that you may be suffering with adrenal fatigue:

  • Feeling tired all of the time, even after a good nights sleep
  • Craving salty foods
  • Weakened immune system
  • Joint pain
  • Dizziness
  • Weight gain
  • Low Back pain

These are just  a few of the symptoms that could be related to adrenal fatigue. Always listen to your body. It is constantly talking to you. 

So how can you prevent it?

Do the exercise I walk you through above and:

  • Skip the Caffeine
  • Clean up your diet
  • Perform some form of exercise
  • Find ways to reduce stress

Once you reach a state of adrenal fatigue it will take some time to get them balanced again. Be patient. Make it a habit to perform the exercise I shared with you and some of the other tips listed above.
